Donations
Since the nuns give up their possessions and dedicate their entire lives to serving God, donations are essential to covering the daily needs of the monastery. Reomäe Monastery also has major construction projects coming up that require funds. We are therefore grateful for all donations, both small and large.
In the US, you can also donate to the non-profit charity “Friends of Lintuvuori co.” that directs funds to supporting monastic life and Athonite spirituality in Finland and Estonia. This charity has a tax-exempt status in the USA.

Prayer Requests
One of the most important works of the nuns is intercession for other people and the whole world. This is what the sisters do in Reomäe Monastery, both in their communal services and in their private prayers.
You can also send particular prayer requests to the monastery. The first names of the people for whom prayers are requested are written on the form. If the person is not Orthodox, this should be written in the prayer request. Do not write in detail about the purpose for which the prayer is requested – God sees all our needs – but only write the names of the people.
No fee is asked for intercessory prayers, because the command to pray for others is a command given by God and part of the daily life of monastics. The person sending the prayer request can of course send a donation to the monastery if they wish.
